Toyah was quite superb. When she walks onstage the level of energy shifts. Usually, within 90 seconds the stage is hers. Today, it was instantaneous. She walked on and went. Jimmy Somerville came to the side of the stage when T was on, pumping the air and singing along to It’s A Mystery.
In the Artist Tent the team were very friendly, and I even had an equipment conversation with the house band’s excellent guitarist. But where there are artists, there are cakes. Vicious Bob Security Services were returned to action…
